What We Believe

We believe...

The Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God. It is infallible, inerrant, and is the final authority for faith and practice.

There is one Triune God existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal in nature, power, and glory, possessing the same attributes.

The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He is God manifest in the flesh by the Virgin Birth. He paid the price of our redemption by His sacrifice on Calvary’s cross. He was victorious over death by virtue of His literal bodily resurrection. He ascended into heaven, there to intercede for the believers at God’s right hand.

The Holy Spirit is the person of the God-head who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He is the promised Comforter working in the life of the believer by regenerating, sealing, indwelling, empowering, and guiding him.

Man was made in the image of God, but in the sin of Adam the race fell and become alienated from God. Man is totally depraved and is unable to remedy his lost condition.

Salvation is the free gift of God by grace through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His saving work. It is not by good works nor religious rites. The person having received Christ as Lord and Savior possesses eternal life and is eternally secure in Him. Those who reject Christ as Savior will be sentenced to everlasting punishment, and are eternally separated from God.

Christ will personally return at the close of the Church Age (the rapture) for His saints, then to earth immediately following the end of the Great Tribulation where He will come with His saints to judge the nations and to set up His Kingdom.
